People ask me my favorite gear/supplements/workout products all the time, so I thought I’d finally make a list for it. It’s a working list, and I get back to it when I find new products I love. It doesn’t contain a lot, because I don’t think there’s a lot needed to start on the path to a better life, but these are my current favorites:

The books:

Jim Stoppani Muscle and Strength. This is THE best book for building a fitness program and understanding the basics of gaining muscle and strength. My copy is absolutely falling apart because I refer to it so often.

Unlimited by Jillian Michaels. If you constantly get in your own way on the path to hitting your goals, this is the best book in the world for getting through that.

Resilience by Eric Greitens. Another book I’m a huge fan of when it comes to overcoming mental hurdles is this one. He’s a Navy SEAL who wrote a book to help a fellow SEAL struggling through life.

Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels. Yes, another Jillian book (I’m a huge fan), but this book is so eye-opening. So many people struggle with losing weight and hitting their fitness goals, and this book walks you through why your metabolism might be the culprit. Then, she goes into detail on how to actually fix it. Generally, the book can be summarized into: eat healthy and stay away from processed food, but if you want to know some studies behind why, this is a great for learning.

The Gear:

TriggerPoint GRID foam roller. I have tried a million foam rollers, and this one is the best on the planet. It hurts in all the good ways.

The Supplements:

My favorite supplements are the entire Jym line, but there is currently a distribution legal battle going on right now between the two companies. Until they get that figured out, I don’t have any links for you, but you can get PreJym and PostJym at GNC.
